I am so thankful I was able to see Q after the birth of my first child. I had a third degree tear and was having issues with incontinence and pain during sex. I was referred to a surgeon for reconstructive surgery, but was interested in other more conservative options. Pelvic floor PT was recommended to me and I am SO glad it was.  I saw Q for pelvic floor PT over the course of about three months and saw so much improvement. Treatment included strengthening exercises and stretching, as well as nutritional education. She was professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly compassionate and comfortable to work with. I recommend pelvic floor PT to anyone who is pregnant or who has given birth!!

I was referred by my urologist to try pelvic therapy for my interstitial cystitis.  If I couldn’t get any relief, I would be looking at more extensive procedures and possible surgery. Dr Q (Quozette) explained pelvic health to me. I didn’t think she could tell me anything I didn’t already know.  I mean, I’ve read all about kegel exercises from Cosmo.   Turns out, there is so much I didn’t know.  There are several connected muscles and if you work on strengthening just one, without understanding how the others work with it, you could actually be causing issues with your pelvic area and bladder. I learned I was “holding it” at the office too long (not even aware), not drinking water, and tightening muscles when I stressed that clearly needed a break. My diet has played a big role in my bladder issues as well. We mapped out a plan and I worked on my new exercises, and I’m finally getting some relief from years of chronic pain. Dr. Q is very knowledgeable and and friendly, makes you feel very comfortable.  Nice to know surgery isn’t always the only option.
